The mountains of the Upper Galilee are among the highest mountains in Israel, rising to heights of over 1,000 meters. The topographical structure, quality of the soil and climate, make the mountains of the Galilee an ideal location for growing vineyards with grapes of the highest quality.
The winery has five vineyards in the Upper Galilee Mountains, characterized by different topographical and climatic conditions. This unique feature enables Galil Mountain Winery to produce blends using a large variety of grapes. 90% of the harvest consists of red grapes used for Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Barbera and Sangiovese. The rest are white grapes grown for Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
